Possible Turning Point

I'm coming up to a possible turning point for me when I get out next. It's something I really want to do when out, but it scares me as well. I've gone on about it elsewhere and it's so mundane it sounds really silly going on about it.I know for me it will be a massive confidence boost and I'll find out a bit more about myself. I accept that I'll be read. On the whole that hasn't been a problem and when it has I think I've handled it reasonably well.
I don't know why I feel I have to push myself. Perhaps being out as Karen is the only time I feel really alive.
I said a turning point. To what I don't know. In a way I feel getting out is one of the few things I've got left and I would like to make the most of it.
A line from Frank Herbert's 'Dune' keeps coming back to me.
'Fear Is The Mind Killer'.
How true that is. I would like to have as few regrets as possible. I'll have some, but as few as possible would be good.

Tattoo

Tattoo - Jordin Sparks

I found this, just click above . The song Tattoo is by Jordin Sparks who won American Idol in 2007 if my information is correct.
I can see what the person who put together the video means about this song. Not one I would usually listen to, but there you go.
The images go really well with the lyrics it's well worth a look.

In a Panic

Went off to a beauty salon this morning to get my back and front waxed and then came home to do my legs myself with a pot of wax from Superdrug. I think I'm getting better. The trick is to keep the wax thin, I haven't done this for awhile, but I'm hoping to be out a few times in the next 4 weeks so hopefully it will save me a lot of hassle with the razor. One thing that did happen was just as I was finishing I had to go out quickly and putting my jeans on with no time to clean of any wax residue. They ended up sticking to my legs. I kind of look like a boiled lobster again, but a least I got my jeans off.. That sounds terrible. That's another daft thing I've done in a panic.
