The song above totally blew me away when I first heard it and I nearly burst into tears. I was watching Chicken Shack live so I was trying to keep the tears back so no one would notice, but a couple did escape. This was 2 or 3 years ago if my memory is right. They were on the bill with John Mayall and his Blues Breakers.
I guess this song was always going to end up on this blog.
I've been going through my cd collection and came across the cd I bought at the concert. The version I saw, Stan Webb also added a bit of the Nine Inch Nails song 'Hurt'. You may remember 'Hurt' was covered by Johnny Cash before he died.
On a lighter note, the month is passing ok. I did try a wig that I bought awhile ago on the net. I decided to put some make up on and see how I looked. To be honest I nearly fell over laughing. I looked like a younger version of a relation of mine. I don't think I'll be wearing this one out anytime soon.
The real positive is I am smoke free and feeling good.
