Another Year Nearly Gone

I had another fantastic time out in Manchester. While there I bought some lovely jewellery, a new tarot deck which I bought from a lovely lady who had transitioned. She mentioned it because I spoke about my situation. She didn't need to tell me anything as far as I was concerned I didn't realise she had been through that process. I thought she was another ordinary lady for want of a better way of putting it.
Starting to feel the low coming on now that I know I won't get out again until next year. In saying that I learned more about myself this time. I also picked up a book called The Map by Colette Baron-Reid. The exercises in this book are designed to empower and take you on a journey of personal discovery. I had been thinking about buying it for some time.
Today I got my copy of Judie Tzuke's new album 'One Tree Less', which I think is wonderful. Highlights so for are the title track, Joy and Moving Target.
While out I saw the best of the T world and in that category I can't thank my friends enough. Then there were other shades descending towards the worst. I got virtually no abuse this time. Actually I was treated very well and in saying that the Cross Country Train Company deserves a special mention. I don't pass but was treated as the gender I was presenting in and treated really well. Even when I spoke I was not called Sir. Other companies could learn from them.
Speaking to one of my friends we got on to the subject of sex. I stated it's not something I will ever have again. She was quite shocked, but it is one thing I know. It's always been difficult for me and as the years go by I've more or less stopped worrying about it. A young woman I talked to who had her own issues. Friends of hers thought she was weird because she didn't want kids. She seemed to understand where I was coming from, but thought it sad that I had reached that conclusion.
Well that's nearly another year over and I've had some wonderful times over the course of it.
I was told by someone that I was the most uncomplicated person they had met in a long time. In a way it's the best compliment I've had.
To anyone who reads this enjoy the holidays.
Peace, Love, Light and Good Health.

Watch the Sky!!!!

Above is a rough sketch I did, and I was going to dump it until a seagull decided to unload on me outside the supermarket. I was thinking of buying some cigarettes, but decided not to after the friendly seagull.
When I got home, I put the toaster on and it went on fire. After putting the toaster out taking great care to unplug it and dump it into the sink all I could do was laugh. I then dug this sketch out and added the gulls and the sh#tbomb.
I'm looking forward to next week and getting out which means a date with a tub of wax tonight plus I am going to take a walk out in the ankle boots I bought last time out to try and break them in.
Hope nothing else falls from the sky or bursts into flames.

Touching Zero

In my quest to improve my health and well being I've had some success and learned quite a bit as well. The journey has taken me down some unusual avenues and I feel good.
I am really looking forward to getting out again later this month.
The zapping of the hair on my chest and stomach is going resonably well. I am not sure about my face and neck.
I've had real problems with smoking. I've quit and started again a few times, but in saying that I've been stopped for about 3 weeks with no slip back. This post now gets a bit crude. I read a book part of which the author talks about living healthier. He got on to smoking and talked about what it does to your body and how you smell and taste. Basically he recomended that you go down on a smoker and then on a non smoker and you will taste the difference. I've never seen oral sex used as an example to give up smoking. I haven't been intimate with anyone in years, but that example made think about the crap I've been burning and sucking in.
Another thing I've found very difficult is to sit still, achieve a good posture, then empty my mind and relax. This is in my practise of Yoga and I can well understand that just about everyone is in some sort of pain or discomfort most of the time and that is why it is hard to be still in body and mind for any length of time. I look to try and touch zero. I try and the pay off is I feel more relaxed. People will do what they do as in the last post and I will just get on with this life.
