I had another fantastic time out in Manchester. While there I bought some lovely jewellery, a new tarot deck which I bought from a lovely lady who had transitioned. She mentioned it because I spoke about my situation. She didn't need to tell me anything as far as I was concerned I didn't realise she had been through that process. I thought she was another ordinary lady for want of a better way of putting it.
Starting to feel the low coming on now that I know I won't get out again until next year. In saying that I learned more about myself this time. I also picked up a book called The Map by Colette Baron-Reid. The exercises in this book are designed to empower and take you on a journey of personal discovery. I had been thinking about buying it for some time.
Today I got my copy of Judie Tzuke's new album 'One Tree Less', which I think is wonderful. Highlights so for are the title track, Joy and Moving Target.
While out I saw the best of the T world and in that category I can't thank my friends enough. Then there were other shades descending towards the worst. I got virtually no abuse this time. Actually I was treated very well and in saying that the Cross Country Train Company deserves a special mention. I don't pass but was treated as the gender I was presenting in and treated really well. Even when I spoke I was not called Sir. Other companies could learn from them.
Speaking to one of my friends we got on to the subject of sex. I stated it's not something I will ever have again. She was quite shocked, but it is one thing I know. It's always been difficult for me and as the years go by I've more or less stopped worrying about it. A young woman I talked to who had her own issues. Friends of hers thought she was weird because she didn't want kids. She seemed to understand where I was coming from, but thought it sad that I had reached that conclusion.
Well that's nearly another year over and I've had some wonderful times over the course of it.
I was told by someone that I was the most uncomplicated person they had met in a long time. In a way it's the best compliment I've had.
To anyone who reads this enjoy the holidays.
Peace, Love, Light and Good Health.
