YouTube - Lift Me Up - Kate Voegele
The link above is to a singer songwriter I had never heard of before, but her last release led to me to downloading it from the net, legally I might add. I still like to buy cd's, but sometimes there is music I like that I can only get via the net. This was the first time I've downloaded mp3's and found it's quite a bit cheaper than buying the cd. Shows how behind the times I am.
Typing the name of my other blog into a search engine one of the hits was Kate Voegele so I decided to hear what she sounded like and was pleasently surprised. Couldn't find her 2 albums anywhere and thats when I resorted to buying the mp3s. It's terrible how this is probably destroying record shops, but I guess it's like trying to fight the tide.
The album is called 'A Fine Mess'. Highlights are '99 Times', 'Inside Out' and the one above which is a really positive song that reminds me of a few people.
It's great when you get this synchronicity which leads to a really pleasent surprise.

Is
YouTube
- Robert Anton Wilson - Language, Reason & Reality
Found the above on You Tube. I read his Cosmic Trigger books a few years ago. A section on E-Prime made an impression on me and I tried stopping using the word 'is' and found that it seemed to allow me to get my point across better in any argument or discussion. I've found myself using words like maybe, apparently, possibly instead.
Have look at the video and see what you think. Does not using the word 'is' make any difference.
I try not to pass any judgements on anything I talk or write about, but view thiem from my own exprience, so that leaves personal opinions which could be wrong.

Procrastination
Procrastination, a horrible word, but it's something I know I have a problem with.
Time to sort out and get a lot of things in order.
Procrastination - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
A day has gone by since I started this post and I've stared cleaning out a lot of crap from my life. I need to reorganise and not exactly start again, but get myself into gear and start moving forward.
Getting out again is off the agender for awhile. Next month will be a tough one, but hopefully I'll get past it with no ill effects.
It's time to move forward and really earn my next time out.
One thing hopefully by the time I get out next I won't look like I've been dragged through a hedge or stuck my fingers in a plug socket. Actually I realise I got a bit lazy and sloppy with my appearance. I need to take a bit more time and care.
No more procrastinating. MOVE FORWARD.
