Just been watching the programme on Sky Living, 'Sex Change Soldier' about Jan Hamilton and her transition. I must admit I shy away from these programmes, but I watched most of this one. Her story was splashed all over the press because she was once a paratrooper. That's about as macho as you can get. What she suffered during the process was horrendous. It was painful to watch and seeing some familiar places she went back to didn't help.
