Waiting

Strange days indeed. I'm waiting to get back out again. It seems a age since Sparkle. Getting out and seeing friends I've made in Manchester seem to dominate my thoughts at times nearly everyday. For the past month and a half I've been reading about what they've been up to on various forums and blogs. It's great to read for me, it feels like I'm at least I'm in touch.
There are others that I have never met and it is unlikely I will, like Annie who is in real danger of going blind who I speak to on the phone. I know she is going through hell as she isn't out to her wife. In the same position I don't know what I would do.
Another lass Jo who is transitioning is going through her own hell at the moment. I met her down at Sparkle, which you can read about in an earlier post. My heart goes out to her. A warm kind hearted person who does not deserve to be treated so badly which is an understatement.
I've had my problems, but really I cannot complain. There are times I wish I could do something to help. In the end due to the nature of being TG it is nigh on impossible. I guess in the end you find your own path and hope it isn't to rocky.
The one thing about getting out is you never know who your going to meet next. I've met more people in the last 4 months that I would call real friends than in, well I don't know.
I started by saying strange days. I don't mean in a bad way it's just since my wife passed away I never expected my life to take this turn and meet or be in contact with so many wonderful people in such a short space of time. It's not really strange days, but some of the best days.
