Reminders

The opening of the above tune does remind me of the film 'Bladerunner', but that is not why it is here. The opening evokes memories of my times out which I have been thinking a lot about lately.I looked at my coat which I bought last time out, hanging in the hall. I felt like crying. The opening reminds me of sitting in a bar on Canal Street on a Sunday evening alone. My friends all gone home and me left with another set of wonderful memories of time in their company and being able to be me.
It will be another month before I can get out again. Everything is set up all I have to do is wait. I don't want to be selfish, there are other things I should be thinking about, but I can't help thinking about next time out. I see reminders everywhere.

Fear

I've been away from this blog for over a month. In that time I have been listening to a lot of music something I tend to do when I am worried. At the moment I have a few, not about myself but other people close to me.
I feel an overwhelming need to get out again. So I guess being selfish I've arranged a 5 day trip out in about 7 weeks in Manchester. I guess the above song due to the title has stood out. The next post is from the new album by Lisa Miskovsky, 'Violent Sky', which I think is a fantastic album. These 2 posts were saved as drafts about a week ago.
I hope my fears are eventually unfounded. I do feel a bit better visiting here and getting something down. Maybe it's just my weird way of dealing with things.
I was sad to hear that the former Thin Lizzy guitarist Gary Moore died the other day. Below is a link to his most famous song Parisienne Walkways.

Another six strings down.
The first post of 2011, a bit depressing, hopefully things will get better.
