Once Upon a Time in the West

A kind of forgotten Dire Straits song. I've been  thinking about the past as well as looking forward to getting out again. The above song is off an album 'Communique' which I bought on tape when it first came out. You know, once upon a time everything seemed to be going well until I screwed up, but I recovered from that and then everything really went pear shaped, when I lost the love of my life. I coped and got back on track despite been thrown another curve. Now I am waiting for the results of biopsy a close relative has had on a lump. That's the worst when you feel helpless. Life continues. There is nothing much I can do, but I really want to get out again just to have some sort of release. Is that selfish ? I don't know.
Things have been a bit hectic which has helped to keep my mind occupied. I also have 4 blogs on the go. One of them is just an extension of this one. I have moved the posts about my times out to there so I have easier access to them and similar posts will be put there with a link on here when I do:-
Travels
The third blog is really self indulgent, more so than this one, with some of my drawings which I really enjoy.
The fourth which is separate to this and the other two, deals with an esoteric interest I have.

Hopefully things will work out.

Silly Experiment

I haven't done this for quite awhile, done my make up with no where to go. I've been experimenting with my eye lashes and curling them. This is a bit of a silly post, but also I've been trying to take my mind off some worries about some one close to me.
Any way below is a picture of one eye after I had finished.

I think I got the lash to curl a bit and I used MAC Pro Longlash mascara. Need a bit more practise and perhaps try a different curler from the cheap one I have. The close up looks a bit horrible. Sorry about that

To finish this probably pointless and silly post is another picture I took without the flash.

Not a very good one,but then again could be a lot worse.Hopefully get out again soon and everything might be better, but only time will tell.
