Heels

Watch a programme called Love/Lust which was about the history of heels. Well worth a watch if you can. Strange how a fashion icon for women was initially a must have for male nobility in France.
Some of the shoes featured in the programme made me feel terrible.
With my balance I've got no chance. Getting botox in the soles of your feet, I thought was a bit extreme.

Pathetic

Got back from Manchester yesterday. This morning I decided to zap my face and that hurt. I did do a test patch a few weeks ago and that went ok.
I've started getting down elsewhere about my trip out, but one thing that happened made me think.
A man, well more like a pathetic ill mannered male came up to me and asked at the top of his voice'
"Oh my God what is it? Are you a man or a woman?"  This was in a busy shopping centre.
Now I was out minding my own business, spending my hard earned money and this thing decides to draw attention to me. I try my best to blend in and usually do apart from the odd look, no one takes much notice of me.
This pathetic male probably thinks he is a real man, but in my opinion I don't think so.
A real man has self respect and therefore does not need to try and embarrass total strangers for his twisted pleasure, showing a total lack of respect to other people.
Some males never mature to be men.
One thing the question did not hurt me, but I did laugh afterwards.
To people who think discrimination is needed or funny, 'Grow Up', learn some manners, get some self respect and be a decent human being,  you might find your life improves.

Musing

Looking forward to getting out again. Really enjoyed Sparkle in July. Since then there was a riot in Manchester and The Village did not escape by all accounts. I was really sad to hear that, but it seems there have been some positives to come out of the chaos.
In The Village I have seen there will be something on, to commemorate the 10th  anniversary of the September  11th atrocity. I'm sorry I won't be able to attend. I like many other people remember that day so very well. I remember being stunned, shocked and horrified by the unfolding events. New York is a city that I have a great deal of affection for.
I am continuing with the zapping and now  the weather is not so good and does not look like it will improve I am thinking about starting on my face and neck and attempting to get rid of the dark hair. Nothing I can do about the gray hair.
Well I am off to make a pot of soup, finish a couple of drawings. Tomorrow I have to get a pot of wax and turn into a lobster again.
Life is good at the moment.
