Scary

Just seen an advert for an event a dressing service in London called the Boudoir is going to. The Boudoir dressing service is one place at sometime I would love to visit for a photo shoot. I've heard so much about it and looked at the galleries on their site which are amazing.
Why have I titled this post scary? Well an outing they have planned is to Simon Drake's House of Magic. This is one I'd really love to go to, but unfortunately can't. Simon is an illusionist who used to be on a Channel 4 programme called the Secret Cabaret and there was the infamous supposed final Iron Maiden concert and death of the singer Bruce Dickenson. He is alive and well.
I'll really be interested to see the reports from other girls. I think it'll be a fantastic if scary evening. The house in a secret location looks really good. I love things like this and hopefully it will come round again.

YouTube - ABBA Eagle (ABBA The movie)

YouTube - ABBA Eagle (ABBA The movie)

I changed the picture on my header to one of a golden eagle. One of my earliest memories is seeing one in the wild and I've been fascinated by eagles ever since.
When I'm out in K mode I feel like I'm flying as high as one.
It's also a good excuse to link to my favorite ABBA song.

Looking Ahead

I've been planning my first outing of the year in K mode, well sort of, I've got the hotel booked, 3 nights in Manchester. The most since Sparkle last year. This time I'll get 2 full days, a kind of dry run for later on in the year. Every time I've just been down for a couple of nights and it go's so fast. In future I want to stay Wednesday to Sunday. Saying all of that, this time I'll be staying Monday to Thursday. I guess the Village will be quiet the first 2 nights. From what I've read on various TG forums if I am on my own I'll have to be careful.
I'm really looking forward to this.It can't come quick enough.
In the links section are 2 to do with Brighton. I would really like some time this year to have a few days down there in K mode. The TG scene seems to be taking off there. There is also Blackpool which seems to be very lively. One place I'll probably be on the Saturday after I come back from Manchester is Newcastle for a night. This all being well could be a busy year.
Manchester is the place I feel most at home, but it would be interesting to see a couple of other places.
The link is for a Motorhead song from a daft movie called Airheads. Lemmy must be about 70. How he is still alive is beyond me. Not a very girly song unless you are a rock chick. For some reason I like playing this song before going out.
