Trains, Shopping and Another City

This year I seemed to have spent a lot of time on trains. At the moment I'm on another one. This computer and myself seem inseparable so I might as well pass the time with another post.
I've been out shopping. Nottingham this time. I hate shopping in bob mode. It just doesnt seem right. Anyway I got some clothes, but I will need to get more at the weekend.
I went to the MAC shop, unfortunately they didn't have the foundation I wanted, but had a great time speaking to the shop assistant and probably spent to much again. The strange thing was, while I was talking to her it felt like I slipped into K mode even though I was dressed as plain old scruffy bob.
Something I've noticed is everytime I travel on a train lately a woman sitting across from me or next to me starts doing her make up. I get the feeling the universe is tormenting or taunting me. I would love to be able to do that. What does amaze me is that when the train jerks and they are doing say their mascara they don't make a mistake. I'd probably stab myself in the eye.
Well the weekend is not far away and I'm looking forward to seeing the girls again and doing more shopping, but properly not in nervous bob mode. 2 more cities to round of the week, as the song says from a previous post All Fired Up.

Getting there

Still addicted to nicotine, but not smoking. I now have to get off the gum and lozenges. One thing I am going to miss is nipping outside for a smoke. Since the anti smoking laws came in, having to go outside meant you ended up talking to people you wouldn't have normally. I'm going to miss it more in K mode than I do in bob mode.
I have put on some weight which I was told to do by the doctor. It'll be interesting to see what clothes fit me. Been totally in bob mode for a while now and eating like a horse.

YouTube - Pat Benatar - All Fired Up

Another blast from the past.
I seem to be digging stuff out by female singers at the moment, so I thought I'd put a link up to this one. Starting to feel old now seeing as this is viewed now in the classic rock vein.(Said with a smile)
